Ancient Lousoi
Lusoi was an important city of Arcadian Azania (as the northwestern Arcadia was called around Kleitor), with a sanctuary of pan-Hellenic scope, the sanctuary of Artemis Imerisia. It is located on the southwestern side of the extension of the Aroanian Mountains (Helmos) and specifically on the western foothills of Mount Lusio or Prophet Elias, in the valley of the Sudenon, between Kynaithas and Kleitoros.
